What to Take


Personal camera, medicines, warm clothes and daily personal needs items (toothpaste, brush, lotion, towels & miscellaneous) should be carried. Don’t take heavy luggage. If you have to take luxury items inform to your guide. Down jacket, sleeping bags and other supplies for trekking can be hired in Thamel which we will assist you before starting the trek. It is highly advised that during high altitude trekking travel as less as possible but necessary warm clothes and emergency aids should be carried. 


Route Map


The route map will be provided to you before starting the trekking. You should take notice that the route map might be altered according to the situation. It depends upon your guide. Trekking guide will assess your physical conditions and plan the map accordingly. However, most of the time we follow the usual route map.


Drinking Water


During high altitude trekking consumption of water or liquid is highly necessary. You can get boiled water in teahouses/lodges which you have to buy. Apart from bottled mineral water it is advised to you to consume the spring water only after it being thoroughly boiled.


Accommodation


The lodging will be on teahouses/lodges during trekking. In Kathmandu we will provide you standard 3 star category or similar hotels. It can be changed according to your liking. During trekking in high altitude rural areas the rooms might not be attached to bathroom. Twin sharing rooms are common. Our trekking guides will make sure that you will have quality overnight sleep during trekking.


Meals


In Kathmandu we provide Breakfast only. During Trekking full board meal will be provided. Dinner and Breakfast will be served in the teahouse/lodge where we spend overnight. Lunch will be served on the way while walking towards next destination. We will make sure the food is healthy and tasty. The major cuisines which are common in the region are Nepalese, Tibetans, Indian (few), Continental and Chinese.
